Antique Embossed Birth Month Fortune Postcards From 1910

This collection includes 10 out of the 12 calendar months. This set is missing February and July. Each card features a stunning black background, a specific birth month flower, a symbolic word or phrase, and an illustrated piece of birthstone jewelry. ****Condition marked as good considering cards that are roughly 115 years old, they have been exceptionally well preserved. The black background—which is notoriously prone to showing scuffs, scratches, and fading—remains deep and dark. The chromolithograph ink on the flowers is highly vibrant. The raised, molded textures and gold-gilded accents are crisp. The card edges look remarkably straight with only minor, expected corner softening. There are no apparent major creases, tears, or water stains visible on the fronts. There is wear to the corners & edges, however, again, considering the age of these cards, they are well kept.
