laylasucks1919Do it have to have the 9v battery in it to show time or is there a cord that plugs in the wall?

tealhappy@laylasucks1919 There is both. You need the battery to see the time numbers and for battery backup if the power goes out. Then it also has a plug for the other applications.

tealhappy@laylasucks1919 Right. The instructions say ”if the AC cord is disconnected or if there is a power failure, this electronic clock is designed to continue operating internally (without showing the time on the clock display) with a 9 V battery ( not included). When I plugged it in to test it, I g ch ours not see the time until I put a battery in. The others functions worked with it just plugged in.
