VINTAGE WM. A. ROGERS SILVERPLATE *ROYAL PROVINCIAL* ROUND SERVING TRAY 10 1/2"

For your consideration is this wonderful vintage Wm. A. Rogers "Royal Provincial" Silverplate Butler's Serving Tray that I found at an estate sale. This tray is a mid-20th century vintage serving piece manufactured under the Oneida Silversmiths umbrella. The Wm. A. Rogers brand began as an independent company in the late 19th century but was acquired in 1929 by Oneida Limited. The Royal Provincial holloware line was highly popular in the 1960s and 1980s and was designed to emulate traditional British silverware. This tray features an ornate traditional Georgian and Victorian revival style and is characterized by a scalloped, raised floral and scroll border with a lipped edge. The flat part of the tray features an intricate etched floral pattern. This tray is 10-1/2" in diameter and is in beautiful vintage condition. I've cleaned it up initially, but will leave more thorough cleaning up to the buyer.
