A chunky statement piece from Coro. This bib-style necklace was likely released sometime in the 1950s or 1960s. It measures approximately 13 inches long and features graduated beads. The beads, likely Lucite, are so pretty and seem to glow from the inside. This piece is signed on the clasp hook. Good vintage condition.
Coro was a prominent American costume jewelry company founded in 1901 by Emanuel Cohn and Carl Rosenberger. Known for its innovative designs and affordable pieces, Coro produced a wide range of jewelry, including brooches, necklaces, and bracelets. The company operated under various names, such as Coro Craft and Vendome, which represented its higher-end line. Coro became one of the largest costume jewelry manufacturers of its time, but it ceased operations in 1979.
