Vintage WWII US Army Infantry Sweetheart Pin Great Seal Shield & Soldier Chain Description: Up for sale is a beautiful piece of authentic World War II home-front history. This US Army sweetheart pin features a black enameled shield showcasing the Great Seal Eagle, connected via a fine chain to a detailed infantry soldier aiming his rifle. Both pieces feature fully functional pin-back clasps. Condition: Good vintage condition with honest wear consistent with age. There is some notable gold plating loss on the reverse side of the shield badge where the base metal is exposed, creating a nice historic patina. Needs a cleaning on the shield. Pin on shield is curved and the c clasp is bent and did not close for me but maybe you can fix it. Please see photos for exact condition details.
