Antique 19th century pewter coffee pot in a classic tall lighthouse form, featuring a domed hinged lid with decorative finial, high curved spout, angular handle, and copper bottom.
Measures approximately 9." tall to the top of the finial with an approximately 5" diameter base.
The copper bottom bears hand-struck numeric markings. No maker's mark has been identified. Likely dates to the mid-19th century based on form and construction.
Displays wonderful aged surface patina with scratches, oxidation, discoloration, and wear consistent with age and use. Copper bottom shows dents/unevenness and age-related surface wear. Interior shows residue and discoloration. Lid hinge remains attached. Please review all photos closely for condition and construction details.
A striking piece of early metalware with excellent primitive, colonial, farmhouse, or historic kitchen display appeal.
