The silk version of this oblong scarf retailed for $1950 from Hermès. Hermès has sold variations of this design on scarves, beach towels, totes, and more. This version, in extremely fine, soft, and lightweight wool, is more rare. Appears to be completely unused. No odors. No stains. No pet hair. No holes. No pulls/runs. No insect damage. The photo with the ruler is showing a natural nuance of wool--a courser fiber. The second photo with the two yardsticks will give you an approximate size--scarf is folded in half lengthwise in this photo.
