Made from PLA (Polylactic Acid) filament is made from renewable, plant-based starches like corn starch, sugarcane, and cassava roots. Unlike traditional petroleum-based plastics, these starches are converted into sugars, fermented, and polymerized to create a biodegradable thermoplastic used widely in 3D printing.
