VTG German Stoneware Cobalt Blue & Gray Wine Pitcher | SZ 7" - Characterized by "salt glaze", a traditional technique from the Westerwald region that gives the ceramic its distinctive pitted "orange peel" texture and durable cobalt blue and gray appearance. The central relief features a cherub or young boy sitting atop a wine barrel, surrounded by ornate grapevines and fruit. The German phrase wrapped around the base reads "Guter Wein - Sonnenschein" which translates to Good Wine - Sunshine."
