Vintage Indian Zardozi hand-embroidered evening bag/clutch. Features an ornate metallic gold bullion wire and beaded design with a beautiful peacock motif in vibrant blue and turquoise accents. BOTH sides of purse have the same all-over motif; this is unusual as most purses like this have large motif on front with smaller (or no) design on back! Base material is black velvet exterior with heavily textured gold wirework, cording, and seed beads. Interior is velvet and satin. Handle is structured gold-toned metallic fabric top handle. Flap front. Purse is approximately 7-3/4" inches long x 5" tall. I like that the bag is imperfectly beautiful but others may desire to do some threading/beading work to bring it back to its original glory. I have taken as many photos as I can to show the imperfections/threading/beading callouts. Also note that the snap front interior is missing the receiving piece of the snap.
