Vintage Joseph Esposito 14KTGE Purple Stone Ring

This vintage ring by Joseph Esposito is electroplated with 14K yellow gold and has a fixed size band. The interior of the band is stamped "14KTGE ESPO" (14 karat gold electroplate, maker - pic 5). The back of the band is thin and splits into two towards the front. The front features a purple faceted glass stone ("faux amethyst") held between the split band, giving an appearance like an eye. The ring has normal wear, most visible as small marks in the metal and a loss of the gold electroplate. This tone loss is most visible in the band (pics 5, 6) but is also slightly visible elsewhere if you look closely. The stone has a tiny bit of movement but no risk of falling out and few marks in the stone itself. Size: 8.25 Width (back/front): 2.5/14mm Weight: 5.47g Love the piece but not the price?
