Vintage Louis Rousselet French Couture Red Glass Melon Bead Drop Chain Necklace

Gorgeous vintage French couture necklace by Louis Rousselet with rich, deep, red gadrooned glass melon beads, multi-strand loops of gathered foxtail chains, as well as a circular link chain, and a barrel clasp closure - the circular link style chain is vintage, and was present on the necklace when I acquired it, but is not original. The necklace is about 19.5 inches in length, and the central glass bead and filigree drop hangs about another 1.5 inches.
