This handmade wooden Matryoshka 10-pc nesting doll set features a hand-painted traditional 7" Russian design of a woman holding a baked good and various family members down to a 1/4" baby. It is often listed as a "Karavay" or "Happy Family" nesting doll. The dolls are hand crafted from linden wood and finished with matte acrylic paints. You can see knot holes inside a couple of pieces. Often referred to as "babushka" dolls or Russian stacking dolls. Preowned, fit snugly together. No marks or imperfections that I can see. Made in Russia. Painter's signature on bottom of large doll. 10 mect translates to 10-piece. Smoke-free and pet-free home. Please feel free to make an offer or bundle with other items in my closet.
