Vintage Czechoslovakia sash/belt buckle

The item shown is an Art Deco period (circa 1920s-1930s) belt buckle or sash buckle. It features eight rectangular, step-cut open-backed clear glass stones (often referred to as paste or rhinestones) set in a brass or gold-tone metal frame. The center bar is clearly stamped with the manufacturing origin, "CZECHOSLOVAKIA", which was world-renowned for its high-quality costume jewelry and molded art glass production during this era.
