Vintage 1930s-1940s Dark Blue Wool Princess Double Breasted Coat Original Buttons I took photos inside out and close-ups of the stitching to show the incredible workmanship, and the handstitched details on this amazing vintage coat. This fabulous coat was made from navy blue wool crepe in the 1940s. It was cut in the classic fit and flare style of the period with padded shoulders, princess seaming to nip in the waist and a gentle flare to the skirt. The lapel collar leads to two rows of buttons that fasten the coat in a double breasted configuration. Large slit pockets at the waist add a practical element. Inside, the coat is lined in sumptuous satin and two interior ribbon ties to complete the look. Size: Womens Measured Flat Shoulder to shoulder- 14” Bust- 34” Waist- 28” Hips- 38” Sleeve Length- 21” Armpit hole- 7” Shoulder to Hem- 39” Shoulder to Waist- 14” 2 small spots in the back. Previous lining repair.
