Such a charming piece of vintage kitchen glass! Clear pressed glass hen-on-nest covered dish featuring beautifully detailed feathers, a dimensional comb and face, flat feathered tail, and classic beaded rim around the nest. The striated/textured nest and beaded rim are characteristic of later Indiana Glass hen-on-nest dishes, making this a wonderful piece for a vintage glass collection or cottage-inspired kitchen. Perfect for displaying on open shelving, a kitchen hutch or stacked cookbooks—or use the covered dish for candy, trinkets, jewelry, etc. Condition: Vintage condition with damage to the base. There is a chip along the inner base/foot with an associated crack/hairline in the glass. Additional light surface wear and manufacturing irregularities consistent with age and pressed glass production. Please review close-up photos carefully for condition.
