Vintage 90s Satin Fabric 5 Yards Drapey Ornate Floral Medallion Blue Mauve

Beautiful vintage satin apparel fabric with an elaborate ornamental floral and medallion print in shades of cobalt and denim blue, dusty mauve/rose, taupe, cream and subtle pale green. The design combines oversized stylized flowers, scrolling motifs, decorative medallions and geometric elements for a wonderfully rich, almost scarf-print appearance. Fabric has a smooth satiny surface with a soft shimmer and luxurious fluid drape. It has no noticeable stretch and flows beautifully without being stiff or structured. Approximately 5 continuous yards × 42” wide. Fiber content and manufacturer unknown. Likely synthetic or a blend; exact composition has not been tested. Estimated late 1980s–1990s based on the print, palette and fabric style. Excellent generous yardage for a flowing dress, bias-cut skirt, blouse, robe, kimono-style jacket, wide-leg pants, caftan or other special-occasion apparel.
