Vintage / Antique Handcarved Hardwood Ecuadorian with Golden Rosary & Cross

Rare, stunning vintage/antique handcrafted Ecuadorian workmanship! This rustic piece still has such detail after many years. Crafted out of hardwood, the nun's habit and the "stone" she stands upon are the same dark brown shade. Carved in such a way that her habit and cloak appear to have waves, and there is definition in the neckline of her gown. All of her facial features are well preserved, as are her toes. The rosary beads draped over her arm and the cross she is holding are hand-painted in royal gold. This piece is a rate gem. Size: 12" Tall x 4" Wide. In excellent vintage/antique condition.
