This is a beautiful little antique brooch, likely late-1800s or early 1900s, with a peacock eye glass cabochon in the center and little flowers along the edges. There are a few areas where the gold has worn away, and a tarnished silver-tone color can be seen. Overall, the piece is in very great shape for its age.
Peacock eye glass is made of blue glass and green foil and was first made in Bohemia, modern-day Czech Republic, during the late-1800s.
