There are 2 black pieces on the side that look like something was cut off, either the belt of the belt loop. The original belt is no longer with it but I am including a black self tie sash belt. The coat is an authentic example of a Blanket Coat or Capote made by the Northwest Trappers brand from a high-quality, English-made Early's Witney Point Blanket. Combining the confirmed date range for the blanket material's label (specifically the Indian Head) with the height of the blanket coat's retail popularity, this coat is firmly placed in the Mid-20th Century, most likely between 1950 and 1965. This was well loved but has no major flaws.
