Vintage Gucci navy leather accents vinyl body

PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION: I bought this vintage Gucci in Florence, Italy, in the early 2000s. I was told it’s from the late 60s early 70s. It’s a beautiful vintage piece with leather inside and accented on the exterior. There is a rip along the side seam and while the other side is intact, it’s showing its age. The strap is confusing, it looks to be convertible with the holes but I could never really figure it out. As is, sometimes one of the knobs pops out of one hole. Measurements: just under 10 inches wide by 6 inches tall by 3 inches deep fully expanded.
