Vintage Sebastian Miniature "The Doctor" Figurine by Prescott W. Baston (Sir Luke Fildes) ================ Up for sale is a collectible vintage Sebastian Miniature titled "The Doctor", designed by Prescott W. Baston based on the famous 1891 painting by Sir Luke Fildes. ============= This hand-painted cast figurine depicts a Victorian physician intently keeping watch over a sick child in bed. Markings: Embossed on the base: "FROM THE PAINTING BY SIR LUKE FILDES" on the back edge and "THE DOCTOR" on the front. Personalization: Features a handwritten ink presentation note on the underside dated "DEC. 25, 1980", adding sweet vintage provenance. Condition: Overall Good vintage condition with minor paint wear and light surface marks typical for age. Please see photos for detailed views.
