They have a slight sheen to them so they are more dressy. They are fully lined with black fabric which is really nice. They have a zipper and hook and eye closure and pockets on either side of hips. They have a black rope self belt. Flaps at back are just for decoration. No back pockets. Black and brown vertical stripe pattern. Vertical stripes make you look taller! Marked as a Small and true to that. I’m 5’2” / 120 lbs and they fit me comfortably. So I’d call them good for shorter people.
