Incredible piece that is so hard to part with because it's so well done! Popular and highly sought after Dresden plate pattern with blue sashing and amazing color plates. Approx 70" x 83" fits a twin bed. Condition for its age is great - no holes, wear or stains that I can identify. Unsure of exact age, but many of the prints resemble feedsack cottons, which were extremely popular from the 1930s into the early 1950s. Dresden plates are hand appliquéd, whole quilt is hand stitched! Blue sashing arranged in a lattice pattern compliments the Dresden plates so well. Perfect to be displayed on a wall, end of bed, on a quilt rack or in a stack of quilts.
