Very good preowned vintage condition art plaque featuring a Pewter Chinese Dragon artwork encased in dark reddish brown tropical hardwood. Almost looks like lacquer. This piece is one from a set of seven pewter plaques issued by Selangor Pewter in the 1980s. The Dragon symbolizes benevolence, wisdom and shrewdness. And the intricacy is a testament to the world-renowned craftsmanship of the Malaysian-based silversmiths.
Measures approximately 5.5" by 5.5" with a .75" depth and includes beautifully integrated hardware for hanging.
