addy9200@jens_lux_finds No it does not need a battery. It was sent that way from Invicta and fairly recently. I know what you’re talking about, but i dont think they include that with these invicta watches. I just checked 4 other brand new watches and they are also running with no plastic piece. Every watch I have is from Invicta directly. 😊
