Vintage 1970s Hand-Tooled Leather Floral Envelope Clutch

A beautifully expressive vintage leather clutch featuring an etched and tooled floral branch design with hand-applied color in rich shades of burgundy, red, moss green and warm ochre. The substantial leather has developed a wonderful russet-brown patina that gives the piece depth and character. The long, slim envelope silhouette is finished with a foldover flap and snap closure. Inside, the clutch is lined in black fabric with a small slip pocket. The graphic floral design and earthy palette are wonderfully evocative of 1970s leatherwork while still feeling distinctive and very wearable today.
