A fabulous vintage Luhta Sport ski jacket, approximately 30 years old and made in Finland. This is one of those wonderfully distinctive vintage pieces that looks just as good styled as an oversized fashion jacket as it does for après-ski. The silky shell features an unusual painterly floral/paisley print in dusty mauve, lavender, rust, muted blue and brown, beautifully contrasted by a plush Sherpa deep blue oversized collar and lapel. Asymmetrical snap-front styling, antique brass-tone hardware, purple zippered pockets and adjustable drawcord hem add to its fabulous retro European ski aesthetic. The interior is just as special, with a copper/rust quilted satin lining featuring a large artistic “Aspen Air – High Fashion – Ski” painterly graphic print. Tagged EUR 34 / USA 6, but this jacket is VERY generously oversized and could accommodate approximately S–L depending on desired fit. Please compare measurements in photos for best fit. Vintage condition with minor stitching at the base of the zipper neatly reinforced; zipper functions properly. Made in Finland. myartfulcloset@kayla_f333 It is definitely a substantial insulated winter/ski coat and everything appears to be intact, but since I haven’t worn it in quite a while, I wouldn’t want to guarantee warmth at –30°C. I think that would also depend on layering, wind and how long you’re outdoors. For those temperatures I’d personally plan on a warm base/mid-layer underneath. 😊 Unfortunately there is no temperature rating on the jacket.
