Absolutely stunning vintage Mylesport 2-piece skirt suit in a beautiful dusty plum/mauve velvet with rich burgundy/pink satin lining. A beautifully detailed fitted jacket with black soutache-style ornamental trim, frog-style closures, rounded neckline, gathered/puffed shoulders. The matching skirt has a long, flowing silhouette w/ a softly gathered waist & gorgeous vintage drape.
The velvet, ornate black trim and dramatic silhouette gives this set a Victorian/Edwardian-inspired, romantic/gothic/historical aesthetic.
Both feature the original Mylesport labeling, the skirt retains the vintage ILGWU union label.
