The sweater has a unique original maker label reading “Made Especially For You By Gladys Brehio.” Interestingly, a Gladys M. Brehio (1926–2011) of Templeton, Massachusetts is documented as having enjoyed knitting. While I cannot confirm this sweater was made by that particular Gladys Brehio, the connection makes the maker label an especially interesting piece of its history.
