Beautiful, authentic antique early-plastic picture frame from the early 20th century. Made of French Ivory (molded celluloid/Pyralin), it features the highly desirable parallel "grain lines" designed to replicate natural carved ivory.
Dimensions: Exterior measures approximately 4.5" tall x 2.75" wide. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The frame retains its original glass. The back includes its original ribbed backing panel and the iconic Y-shaped tabletop easel strut, which remains fully intact and functional (no splits or broken hinges). Minor expected age toning that adds to its authentic antique character.
