Hailing from the brand The American Shirt Dress and dating to c. 1980s - 1990s, this well-made vintage purple sleeveless dress is lightweight, unlined, slightly stretchy throughout with a very stretchy elasticized waist, includes functional hip area pockets, and is comprised of cotton + polyester. Highlights include the classic fit-and-flare (verging on circle) silhouette, the charming purple plastic shank buttons, and the fabulous medium veering towards dark shade of purple that calls this timeless gem of a dress home. 💜😍 📏 Approximate unstretched measurements (also shown in the listing photos above): Bust 38 inches | Waist 24" unstretched, at least 30" stretched | Hips full | Total garment length 42". 💗 Item condition: Very good gently worn vintage shape. There is one tiny area on the front right shoulder where it has either faded or there wasn't quite enough purple dye laid down there at the time of manufacturing (see 3rd to last photograph above).
