1989 The Bennington July Program graphic tee on a turquoise Hanes 100% cotton tee. Single-stitch construction, which dates it correctly to the era. Gently used with minor wear—1 pinprick hole on the front and spots of slight fading on the back. Celestial graphic is intact and not cracked. This is perhaps most desirable for lovers of literature: Bennington College in the 1980s was the heart of literary brilliance, with Donna Tartt, Bret Easton Ellis, and Jonathan Lethem all attending in the early to mid 80s. Tartt herself attended the July Program and allegedly based some of her novel The Secret History on it. This is a collector’s piece from a fascinating institution.
