Vintage 1950s 60s Asian Brocade Satin Fabric Navy Floral Crane 4.75 Yds x 36

Beautiful vintage satin brocade/jacquard fabric with a deep navy blue ground and intricate woven Asian-inspired motifs. The design features colorful chrysanthemums and flowering branches along with cranes, vessels and other traditional motifs in pink, green, red, ivory, peach and blue. Additional tone-on-tone navy woven figures give the fabric wonderful depth and become more visible as the light changes. Approximately 4 3/4 yards x 36” wide. (weighs 2+ lbs) Estimated 1950s–1960s vintage, likely late 1950s/early 1960s. Fiber content is unknown and has not been tested; I would not assume silk. Fabric has a smooth satin sheen and woven jacquard/brocade construction, with the reverse of the weave visible on the back. Appears to be unused vintage yardage and still has an old handwritten price tag attached. Please review photos for condition and details from long-term storage.
