Up for sale is a stunning, intricately handcrafted Huichol beaded art piece. This striking item features thousands of vibrant, tiny micro-beads (chaquira) meticulously pressed by hand into a traditional layer of natural beeswax over a sturdy ceramic or clay base. The front showcases a beautiful, highly detailed geometric and floral mandala pattern utilizing a radiant color palette of oranges, deep reds, yellows, greens, and blues, spiraling outward from a central star design. Provenance & Artist Details: The reverse side is fully hand-inscribed by the artisan with the original creation details and signature: Artisan: Samuel Carrillo Moreno (Signed) Date Crafted: Friday, August 8, 2008 ("El día viernes 8 de Agosto de 2008") Origin Location: Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico Beadwork: Good vintage condition. Please note there are approximately 6 to 7 individual micro-beads missing along the very outer perimeter edge, which is common for authentic wax-pressed folk art of this age. The entire interior pattern, central peyote star design, and vibrant color fields remain 100% complete, firmly attached, and structurally sound. Reverse Base: The back shows light, natural shelf wear consistent with its 2008 origin. It includes a built-in wire hanging loop on the reverse for easy wall mounting. Please review all macro close-up photos carefully to confirm the exact edge condition before purchasing.
