Vintage Dorset 5th Ave Jewel Encrusted Powder Compact

Mid-century vintage rhinestone-encrusted metal compact, likely produced by Dorset Fifth Avenue (although unmarked). 1950s, characterized by gold-tone filigree metalwork studded with multi-colored glass rhinestones. Opens and closes very nicely. Measures 1.5” square. • Interior: Original square mirror is completely intact, uncracked, and offers a clear reflection with only light vintage aging around the perimeter. • Base: The powder well shows authentic, aged gold-tone metal patina and light historical powder residue. • Accessories: Does not include the original sifter screen or powder puff.
