A spectacular vintage Leo Narducci for Ambiance belted plaid jacket in a gorgeous multicolor woven textile. Cream & beige are the foundation of an intricate plaid woven with burgundy, black, gray, camel & touches of orange/gold. So many colors that work together beautifully for a quintessentially 70s look. Features dramatic wide notched lapels, black buttons, matching self-tie belt and decorative faux patch pockets. Wear it belted to define the waist or open for a relaxed silhouette. Leo Narducci was an acclaimed American designer & 1965 Coty Award winner known for sophisticated, wearable fashion in the 1960s & 1970s. He launched his own label in 1971, & his Ambiance collections were being shown by 1974. This jacket beautifully reflects the era’s love of bold textiles & tailored sportswear. Fabric appears & feels consistent with wool; however, the original fiber-content label is not present, so the exact fiber composition cannot be verified. The exterior fabric is in impeccable vintage condition. Carefully inspected for moth holes; none were found.
