70s Vintage Boho Velvet Bolero and Mini Skirt Set

A gorgeous find from my closet to yours! This vintage 1970s purple velvet bolero vest and mini skirt set features an open-front cropped silhouette accented with intricate gold braided passementerie trim and swirl embroidery detailing. A classic cropped waistcoat vest paired with a matching flared, banded mini skirt. The deep royal purple velvet fabric is beautifully contrasted with intricate golden metallic braided rope trimming and decorative loop detailing along the open front edges of the bolero. The set draws heavily on the popular 1970s "Renaissance Revival" and "Genie/Boho" design trends, mixing rich, plush fabrics with theatrical, folkloric details.
