A set of two art deco style mercury glass ashtrays. Despite the name, mercury glass does not actually contain mercury. Vintage mercury glass, often called silvered glass, was made by blowing double-walled glass and pouring a mix of liquid silver and lead (or tin) between the two layers.
They measures 4 x 5 inches wide, about 1 inch deep
