NWT Barry Beaux Handmade Floral Tie 100% Cotton 2.75” Wide 58” long Established in 2009, Barry Beaux was started by designer, Frances Ford Barry. She was born and raised in Mt. Pleasant, SC and has always loved the Lowcountry style. Frances started Barry Beaux while studying Fashion Merchandising at Georgia Southern University. This "Carolina Girl" designs, cuts and sews all of her bow ties, ties, cummerbund sets, pocket squares suspenders and more! The name Barry Beaux comes from Barry, her last name, and Beaux, meaning handsome in French as well as a play on words for "bow." The shrimp logo comes from the shrimp boat fleet in Shem Creek, a local creek in Mt. Pleasant, which is her main source of inspiration. Being a Lowcountry girl, she also grew up hunting, fishing, and eating oysters and boiled peanuts. She incorporates the things she knows best into her designs.
