Antique collapsible opera top hat crafted from black silk grosgrain. This elegant piece features a classic tall crown and a curved brim with matching grosgrain binding. The interior is lined with a ribbed fabric and bears the prestigious gold-stamped maker's mark of A.J. White Ltd, Hatter & Cap Maker, located at 74 Jermyn St., St. James's, London. A sophisticated accessory for formal evening wear or historical collections. This was my great-grandfather's hat from the early 1900s. Minor flaws noted in photos.
