Coming from a smoke-free home! *I did not like the straps this dress initially came with, and I am, by no means, a seamstress; however, I tried to replace the straps myself. I cut off the old straps and sewed on some spare stretchy bra straps I had lying around that came from a strapless bra. I did this in 2022 and they have held well. But there are some rough hems where the straps are that are pictured. But they are barely visible when wearing. If you are a seamstress, they could probably stand to be sealed up eventually.
