Adorable Horton the Elephant plush from Dr. Seuss's Horton Hears a Who!, produced by Aurora World. This sweet Horton measures approximately 10 inches tall and features soft pale blue-grey plush, oversized pink-lined ears, embroidered expressive eyes and facial details, a long curved trunk and the little tuft of dark hair that gives Horton his unmistakable personality. The original sewn-in tags are still attached and provide some useful identification. They are marked: Aurora World, Inc. • Dr. Seuss • TM & © 2018 Dr. Seuss Enterprises, L.P. • May 2018 • Surface Washable • Polyester Fibres & Plastic Pellets • Handmade in Dongguan, China. The May 2018 tag is especially nice to document, as it identifies this as an officially licensed Aurora Dr. Seuss plush from that period rather than one of the many other Horton versions made by different companies.
