Own a piece of American maritime history! This heavy, authentic individual-sized teapot was manufactured by the renowned silversmith Reed & Barton for use in U.S. Navy Officers’ Mess halls during the World War II era (circa 1940s).
The teapot features a robust utilitarian shape, a functional hinged lid with a ball finial, and a classic curved handle. Over years of service, the original silver plating has worn away, beautifully exposing the warm, solid brass-toned base metal beneath to create a stunning, one-of-a-kind antique patina.
The underside is deeply and clearly stamped with the Reed & Barton eagle hallmark, "Silver Soldered," the pattern designation "3610," and the official military "U.S.N." mark.
Maker: Reed & Barton
Pattern Number: 3610
Military Stamping: U.S.N. (United States Navy)
Era: World War II (c. 1940s)
Dimensions: Approximately 4.5 inches tall
Condition: vintage historical condition. Stamped markings are legible. Solid structure with smooth hinge functionality. Features a rich, authentic aged patina from active naval service wear.
Perfect for military collectors, nautical decor enthusiasts, or unique shelf styling! Bundle this historical treasure with other items from my closet to save on flat-rate shipping.
