Vintage Lulu M Paris 90s Gothic Midi Dress Mixed Media Knit Sheer Black S

This is an incredibly unique vintage 90s dress from French designer Lulu M Paris. An ethereal gothic piece combining a fitted black knit bodice with a flowing, sheer skirt for a beautiful mixed-media effect. The knit bodice is especially striking, with sculptural vertical detailing and openwork elements that flow organically into the skirt. Below, panels of lightweight sheer black fabric create an airy, handkerchief-style hem and lots of movement. The contrast between the substantial textured knit and delicate translucent fabric gives it an almost otherworldly quality. There is no indicated size. The knit is very stretchy and will accommodate a range of measurements, but I would estimate it best fits a small.
