Up for sale is a gorgeous, authentic vintage Blenko #384 double-spout water pitcher in a striking, deep Cobalt Blue. Originally designed by Joel Philip Myers in 1938, this iconic architectural shape features a flattened rectangular body with a central circular indentation on both sides for an easy grip. This stunning art glass piece is completely hand-blown in West Virginia, showcasing beautiful, subtle wavy textures and minor internal glass bubbles characteristic of handmade studio glass. Features a rough, snapped-off pontil mark on the base. Condition: Excellent vintage condition! No chips, cracks, or flea bites along the delicate dual pouring spouts or rims. The glass is beautifully clear with no cloudiness or water sickness. Best of all, it retains its original metallic "Blenko Handmade" foil sticker on the neck.
