Measured flat, the width across the back from armhole seam to armhole seam is approximately 16”. The upper-arm/bicep width is approximately 7.5–8” flat. I’m happy to take any other measurements you’d like!

shmichael1414This is a fabulous piece🔥. I'm in awe of the condition and original tags😍. As a Lane Bryant shopper for more than three decades I wonder if the sizing is drastically different from today. Is this a true 18?

nikitamarie3@shmichael1414 Thank you so much! She is GORGEOUS in person too! ❤️ It really is such a special piece. It does appear to run quite a bit smaller than a modern Lane Bryant 18. Based on the measurements, I’d estimate a best fit around a 36–38” bust and 33–35” waist. The coat measures approx. 21” pit to pit, 19.5” waist and 18” shoulder to shoulder laid flat. I’d compare those to a coat you love, and I’m happy to take any other measurements!
