This is a layered, domed vintage costume jewelry brooch featuring large amber and topaz colored chaton and pear-shaped rhinestones, accented by smaller pavé-set crystals in a silvertone metal setting. The brooch is in very good vintage condition with all prong-set stones intact, minimal wear to the metal backing, and no significant chips or cloudiness visible in the glass. Time period 1955-1965. Juliana costume jewelry was produced by the DeLizza and Elster company founded by Frank DeLizza and Harold Elster in New York City in 1947. Operating until 1990, the firm manufactured high-end costume jewelry for many prominent brands before marketing their own un-signed pieces known distinctively to collectors as Juliana.
