2004 Steiff Daniel Bear with Swarovski Annual Edition Snowflake Xmas Ornament

Daniel, The Swarovski Teddy Bear, was the 2004 Numbered Limited Edition and the first in the series of the collaboration between Steiff North America and Swarovski North America. Celebrating 100 years of the famous Steiff trademark button-in-ear, Daniel was the first Steiff bear to wear a Swarovski Xilion crystal as his button-in-ear, instead of the traditional gold button. Crafted in Light Blond mohair, the adorable Daniel is 10" tall with black boot button eyes, brown nose and claw stitching, and is five way jointed. His Certificate of Authenticity matches his numbered ear tag. Daniel Bear comes with the Swarovski 2004 Annual Edition Star / Snowflake Christmas Ornament, which was designed by Edith Mair. The ornament is 3" in diameter and features two sets of six stars. The faceted clear crystal ornament has a metal tag with the year 2004 and a special festive red ribbon (instead of the usual blue ribbon) for Daniel to wear the ornament around his neck, or for hanging on the tree or an ornament display. Daniel Bear comes complete with original boxes and COAs. The outer box for the bear shows some shelf wear, mostly around the outer edges, but is still in excellent condition. The 2004 ornament comes with inner box, outer sleeve and COA.
