ALBERTA FERRETTI Colorful Silk Chiffon Mini Tent Dress w Beaded Neckline, SZ 6

This cute "after 5" mini dress from Alberta Ferretti features a vividly colorful silk chiffon fabric with a painterly design. It reminds me of Van Gogh's "Starry Night," while the brushstrokes remind our photographer of Edvard Munch's The Scream (it took me a while, but I finally got it). The front of the dress is silk chiffon gathered at a neckline comprised of jet black beads encased between two layers of black tulle. The back of the dress is a silk and wool blend without gathers that emphasizes the gorgeous pattern. The front chiffon fabric is 100% silk, and the back fabric is 73% wool and 27% silk (Silk and wool blends are one of my favorite fabrics - the wool gives the fabric body, and the silk gives it sheen.) The black rayon lining is not full or gathered, but is more like a regular fitted dress, so that's where we took the measurements. Labeled Italian size 42 and US size 6. Review the photos carefully because they too are part of the description. MEASUREMENTS* - Underarm chest measurement is 36.5" - Waist is 36" - Hips measure 38" - Length is 33" down center back. *Do not rely only on the size label or estimated size to determine fit.
